The locality in South Africa where these intense green fluorites come from is very remote. Riemvasmaak is not far from the Namibian border in the Northern Cape province of South Africa.
The color of the fluorites from this locality is an intense neon green. Some show shades of blue as well. They are all very sharp octohedrons with varying levels of luster.
This specimen features a dominant octohedron that is 5 cm across with great color and luster.
