There has been about a twenty five year gap in the availability of specimens from this locality. The azurite suns form between layers of kaolinitic clay. The aggregate was forced to grow in a laterally compressed, radiating manner.
This specimen features a nearly 10cm diameter sun on the clay matrix. This specimen also comes with a custom made acrylic base made by The Sunnywood Collection.
