A beautiful cabinet specimen of wulfenite crystals on calcite. The interconnected crystals measure up to 1.5 cm and are a pleasing orange color with good luster.
The workings of this deposit date back to ~1907. The wulfenite specimens from there have become classics and are highly sought after by collector's. The combination of deep orange wulfenite crystals on the white calcite covered matrix is the most desired look of specimens from this locality.
This specimen also has an association of descloizite salted across the calcite. These microcrystalline aggregates measure up to 1 mm and are orange-brown in color.
