Since the mid-1990’s, the Xianghualing Mine has been producing amazing clusters of glassy, transparent, cubic crystals of light-green fluorite that are frequently associated with white, flattened rhombohedral calcites. Xianghualing is a skarn-type, Tin-Lead-Zinc deposit located in south central China.
This specimen features fluorite crystals of amazing transparency. One can literally read through these clear, lustrous crystals. The specimen is in outstanding condition and is extremely aesthetic. The individual fluorite crystals measure over 2.7 cm across and the calcite crystals to 3.5 cm across. A beautiful specimen! The specimen comes with a custom-made acrylic base.
